Legg Mason underwent a major real estate positioning that included new offices in New York City, California, and Tokyo culminating in a new headquarters space in Baltimore.  As the major tenant in a new building on the harbor, the base building was reconfigured to best suit a state-of-the art conference center, cafeteria and health center and accommodate the open office configuration that the Legg team had established.  A material, furnishings and product palette was adapted in several of the other new offices and provided much of the design direction for the headquarters project.
